Thurow is an interesting story. Zach was able to shed 60 pounds from the beginning of his junior year until the summer, working wonders for his mobility. While Thurow is still a work in progress, he gained confidence during his summer on the AAU circuit.
Rivalshoops.com caught Thurow at The Three Stripes Tournament at Hofstra University in mid-July.
Zach is an excellent student who wants to study mechanical engineering in college. He maintains a 3.67 GPA in the classroom. Thurow has scored a 25 on the ACT. The personable big fella will take the test again this fall.
