Travis Is A Strong Lean

Mike Travis, a 6-9, 210 pound power forward/center from the City College of San Francisco in San Francisco, Calif., is a strong Texas Tech lean this fall.
Rivalshoops.com caught up with new CCSF Head Coach Patrick Springer, and he explained that the Red Raiders have offered Travis, and he's expected to take a trip to Lubbock this fall.

"Texas Tech is the leader for his services at this time," Springer said. "There's a good chance that he will end up there."
On a very deep and talented CCSF squad last winter, Travis averaged five points, seven rebounds and two blocks per game.
"He's a kid who can really defend and rebound," Springer said. "He's a live wire, but he needs to get more shots. He can get things done around the basket, it's just that he's not an offensive minded guy."
In addition to being a solid basketball prospect, Travis is also taking care of business in the classroom at CCSF.
"Education is something that is very important to Mike," Springer said. "He really wants to get his degree."
Prior to enrolling at CCSF last fall, Travis attended Thurgood Marshall H.S. in San Francisco. If he does make a fall decision, we will let you know.
