Romeo Travis, a 6-6, 215 pound small forward from St. Vincent/St. Mary H.S. in Akron, Ohio, has five colleges at the top of his list this fall.
Travis, who is in the midst of his football season at SVSM, told Rivalshoops.com that he is considering Akron, Robert Morris, Hampton, Wright State and Bowling Green.

Travis is also getting some sniffs on the gridiron from Division I colleges, but he's likely to play just basketball in college.
Travis has planned official visits thus far to Robert Morris (Oct. 19-21) and Akron (Oct. 25-27). Of course, the hometown Zips have already landed high school teammate "Dru" Joyce.
"It has some effect on me that Dru is going to Akron, but it's not going to make me sign there," Travis said. "I am hoping to sign early."
Although he doesn't yet have dates picked out, Travis said he is also hoping to visit both Hampton and Wright State this fall. A lot could depend on how far the football season extends for the Irish, who are sitting at 3-3 right now.
Travis said that unless the football team finishes strongly, it won't qualify for the state playoffs. This year, SVSM's gridiron squad has been without the services of LeBron James, the top basketball prospect in the Class of 2003 who will likely to declare for the NBA Draft at the end of the 2002-2003 prep campaign.
Last season at SVSM, Travis averaged 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks per contest. A versatile and rugged performer who can play inside and out, Travis could be a very effective player at the low to mid Division I level.
This past summer, Travis played with the NE Ohio Shooting Stars, and at times he settled for hoisting up perimeter jumpers. He's at his best when he's scrapping around the tin for loose change, slashing the baseline and looking for quality chances from the wing.
Travis said he has a 2.3 GPA and scored a 24 on the ACT.
