Traditional PG Getting Top Looks

Trevon Jackson, from Friendly High School in Fort Washington, MD, at 6-2 is a traditional point guard who thinks pass first but also can and does score.
Jackson averaged 14 points and eight assists as a junior on a DC-area team that finished with a 19-5 record and was ranked as high as seventh in the Washington Post's poll.

Friendly assistant coach Oliver Walker said, "He's a great shooter from the arc. Mid-range shooting is his game and he can go to the rack. And he makes great game decsions."
Walker told us that Jackson is also a good student. "He has a 3.27 overall GPA," he said. Jackson wants to be an architect.
Jackson, whose favorite school is North Carolina State, is picking up interest from top Division I schools such as UCLA and St. Bonaventure, according to Walker. "Recruiters are labeling him the best kept secret at his position," Walker added.
Walker is competing with his school team in the Nike Swoosh League at Gwynn Park and the Falconers League at Largo. Friendly is undefeated in both leagues.
