Tough Man Heads To Big Ten
Ije Nwankwo, a 6-6, 250-pound power forward from Detroit Country Day H.S., made a verbal commitment to Purdue, according to sources in the Big Ten.
Nwankwo was being looked at by several programs including Wisconsin, Ohio State, Penn State, Iowa, Marquette, Ohio University, Kent State, and Toledo.

Nwankwo took an unofficial visit to the Purdue campus and according to Big Ten sources, enjoyed his visit and had a great time speaking to the coaches.
Nwankwo is being compared to former NBA great Charles Barkley, who was blessed with decent perimeter skills but could also utilize his big body in the paint.
