During a morning press conference today, Madden, a 6-foot-4, 170-pound point guard from Lepanto (Ark.) East Poinsett County High School, announced his intention to play his college ball at Arkansas.
Just days ago Ole Miss appeared to be Madden's ultimate destination, but down the stretch Arkansas was able to overcome the Rebels. Baylor was the third school in the picture.
Madden will join travel team teammates Hunter Mickelson and Aaron Ross at Arkansas. The Razorbacks also have five-star point guard B.J. Young in the class.
Madden, is the No. 6 ranked point guard and No. 27 overall prospect in the Rivals150, will push Arkansas' No. 7 ranked class even higher up in the 2011 national team recruiting rankings.
