Pollard, a 6-foot-7 small forward from Porterville (Miss.) Kemper County High School, took an elbow to the head during the West team's practice on Tuesday. He suffered concussion-like symptoms and was unable to play in the closed scrimmage later that day.
According to McDonald's All-American Game personnel, doctors have advised Pollard to avoid contact and he is officially out of Wednesday's game.
Pollard, who is coming off a state championship season, is still uncommitted and considering Alabama, Georgetown, Mississippi State, Missouri and Texas. He will officially visit Alabama and Georgetown in April.
