Torin Francis Update

Torin Francis, a highly skilled 6-10, 220-pound forward from Tabor Academy in Massachusetts, could make his announcement this week.
"I don't see it happening tomorrow (Monday) but it could happen this week," said David First, Torin's coach. "He could be calling coaches pretty soon to tell them whether they are in or out."

First said that Francis, as of posting this story, has not called any coach. "So technically speaking, everyone is still alive," First said. "But realistically speaking, he is concentrating on a few schools. I don't want to say the number."
First did say that Francis is laboring on the few schools he is concentrating on. Sources close to Francis told us that Florida, Virginia, and Notre Dame are definitely under serious consideration at this stage.
But First has pointed out that each school on Francis' list is being given consideration. "Torin is confused," First said. "I spoke to him about two hours ago and we spoke about coaches, style of play, and academics. There are so many differences between all of the schools on his list."
First said it is unlikely that in homes will now be taken. However, he would not totally rule them out. "I think a decision will definitely come within the next couple of weeks," First said. "Maybe this week."
Francis has unofficially visited Georgetown, Maryland, Boston College, Notre Dame, Virginia, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and Florida.
