Torin Francis 26 Pave Way To Win For Tabor

SMITHFIELD, RHODE ISLAND -- Torin Francis (right) scored 26 points and pretty much had his own way inside to help Tabor Academy dust off IMG, 88-59. This was the second game of the day for IMG at the 2002 National Prep School Invitational held on the campus of Bryant College.
Francis also picked up nine rebounds and he sat down midway through the second half after Tabor built up a huge lead. IMG did not present many defensive obstacles for Francis and his teammates. Torin also took his game outside a couple of times and dropped in jumpers.

IMG only utilized two of its top players, Mark Williams and Renardo Backman, in the second half. But it's unlikely they would have turned around this game anyway.
Tabor also used many players. Khaliq Gant came off the bench to score 15 points. He is just a sophomore and will be a big part of the Tabor future for head coach David First. James Parker also had 11 points for the winners.
Mark Williams had 12 points for IMG while teammates Lance Foreman (11 points) and Jake Raushbach (10 points) also made contributions.
