Top prospect scoring samples

One of the week’s top match-ups took place in Seattle with Rainer Beach High School squaring off against Seattle Prep. Seattle Prep came out on top 65-60 as three of the nation’s top prospects put up quality numbers. The No. 6 ranked player in the Rivals150 Martell Webster had very impressive numbers on the night.
Webster finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds. His teammate Spencer Hawes, one of the top big men in the class of 2006, added 16 points. Terrence Williams netted 22 points for Rainer Beach.

In a top match-up in Memphis, Tenn., Raleigh-Egypt High School (6-0) prevailed over Hamilton High School (6-1) 90-78. UT-Martin signee Vashon Ingram scored 22 points for the winners. Teammate Lawrence Kinnard had 19 points and 8 blocks, while one of 2007's top point guards Maurice Miller scored 19 as well. 2006 prospect Joseph Watkins also managed 19 points for Hamilton in the losing cause.
Also in Memphis, J.P. Prince scored 20 points in a blowout win.
In his first two games of the year, Jamal Boykin has scored 25 points and 21 points in Fairfax (Los Angeles, Calif.) High School’s two wins. Boykin also grabbed 11 rebounds in both games.
In the Dallas, Texas, area, Calvin Miles went for 23 points in Skyline High School’s 58-56 win over San Antonio Warren High School.
2006 standout George Odufuwa scored 19 points in a Kimball High School blowout victory.
And Jeremy Mayfield only managed 2 points in Irving MacArthur’s 67-60 loss to Keller High School.
