Top five for Harangody

2006 three-star blue collar big man Luke Harangody is presently working with a list of five schools. Head coaches from two of those schools made their way to Andrean High School in Shereville, Ind., yesterday to visit with the 6-foot-7, 250-pound power forward.
"I like Northwestern, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Indiana and Purdue," said Harangody. "Coach Mike Davis and Coach Matt Painter came by the school today to see me, and Ohio State is coming in two weeks."

Out of these five schools, Notre Dame is the only one who has not yet offered Harangody. As it stands now, it looks like a pretty even five school race, with each school likely to get an official visit from Harandgody.
"I don't have a leader right now," he said. "I plan on visiting all five of these schools at some time this summer.
"I just want to go to a place where I feel comfortable and where I can come in and help the team."
Harangody, who had an impressive Nike Hoop Jamboree last summer is an old school grinder around the basket who makes a living on chasing down rebounds and getting putbacks. He is also effective in the high post with his overall solid skills with the basketball.
After averaging 23 points and 12 rebounds per game for his 23-3 high school team, Harangody is well aware of what he needs to improve over the summer season.
"I'm going to work hard this summer on getting quicker and more athletic," he commented.
