1. Shabazz Muhammad
School: Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman
The Buzz: Many consider UCLA as in the driver's seat of Muhammad's recruitment. Local school UNLV is a legitimate dark horse in his recruitment, and Kentucky is always dangerous when they host recruit for Big Blue Madness. Muhammad will also likely visit Duke while Texas A&M, Kansas and USC are also in the mix. A decision from Muhammad isn't expected until the Spring.
2. Mitch McGary
School: Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy
The Buzz: Duke and Michigan appear to be the frontrunners in McGary's recruitment. Florida, Kentucky, Maryland and North Carolina are the other schools he is considering. McGary doesn't have any upcoming visits and it's unclear whether he will sign in the fall or spring.
3. Anthony Bennett
School: Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep
The Buzz: Bennett is no rush to make a decision and is still considering 10 schools. Those schools are conducting in-home visits at this stage. Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio State, Oregon, Pittsburgh, UNLV, Washington and West Virginia are all vying for a spring signature.
4. Devonta Pollard
School: Porterville (Miss.) Kemper County
The Buzz: Pollard is expecting to visit Kentucky and Texas in the near future. Both Georgetown and Marquette have been heavily involved and would like to host Pollard on an official visit. Regional schools Alabama and Mississippi State are strong contenders as well.
5. Jarnell Stokes
School: Memphis (Tenn.) Southwind
The Buzz: Stokes visited Tennessee this past weekend and had previously visited Arkansas. His hometown school Memphis is also a strong contender. Currently, Arkansas appears to be in a great position in Stokes' recruitment.
6. Alex Poythress
School: Clarksville (Tenn.) Northeast
The Buzz: Vanderbilt is hoping to hold off Kentucky and land this five-star forward from nearby Clarksville. Kentucky, however, has a lot of momentum on its side and will host Poythress for its Big Blue Madness event. Florida and Memphis are also on his school list.
7. Kaleb Tarczewski
School: Southborough (Mass.) St. Mark's
The Buzz: Tarczewski is torn between Kansas and Arizona. He will check out the opening practice at Kansas, and then the following week he will visit Arizona. He is expected to sign in the fall.
8. D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera
School: Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy
The Buzz: Georgetown and North Carolina State are the frontrunners for Smith-Rivera. Georgetown, who hosted Smith-Rivera on an official visit, appears to have the upper hand as Smith-Rivera's mother is impressed with the academics and the backcourt at NC State being crowded after the commitment of Rodney Purvis. Louisville and Memphis are also involved with Smith-Rivera.
9. T.J. Warren
School: Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy
The Buzz: Warren is down to Florida, Georgetown, North Carolina and North Carolina State. Warren, who is originally from North Carolina, appears to be leaning towards his home state schools. He visited NC State the first weekend in October and will be at North Carolina for the opening of practice.
10. Gary Harris
School: Fishers (Ind.) Hamilton Southeastern
The Buzz: For a long while it looked like it would come down to Indiana, Michigan State and Purdue in Harris' recruitment. Kentucky, however, has made a significant late surge and has secured an official visit date with Harris.
