Tiny considering three

Upper level four-star prospect Keith Gallon is making positive strides both off the court and on the court at Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy. The big man known as "Tiny" is down to three schools and has a visit on tap for this weekend.
Coach Steve Smith had several stipulations for Gallon to be able to return to Oak Hill for his senior year. One of those is to hit the books with more vigor. The other is to lose weight. So far Gallon has met all his requirements in the classroom and has dropped 20-pounds over the past six months.

As far as his recruitment go, Gallon has already visited Oklahoma. A trip to Mississippi State, where his sister plays on the basketball team, is slated for this weekend. California is the third school in the mix, but the Golden Bears are holding out for a Christmas Break official visit.
"Tiny and his mom are saying that he is going to sign in the spring," said Smith. "California is holding out for a later visit based on that, and Tiny is originally from the Bay Area. You know things can change, though. I'm sure he is going to feel some heat this weekend, and I'm sure Oklahoma would like for him to sign early. People are filling spots and you never know what is going to be available in the spring."
Coach Smith also noted that Gallon, the No. 31 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, played like a pro in the first half of Oak Hill's scrimmage against the Patterson School before fatiguing in the second half.
