Tilton point guard on the rise

Jon Han, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound point guard for the Tilton (N.H.) School, has put up enormous number for Tilton against two very good schools. Presently, Han has some mid-major offers, but Tilton head coach Scott Willard thinks his point guard is better than the interest he is getting.
“Jon has offers from Loyala Maryland, Marist and Rider,” said Coach Willard. “He is also receiving interest from schools like Harvard, Fairfield and Holy Cross.

“He’s kind of under the D-1 radar. He will surprise a lot of colleges with his play against top competition this year.”
In his two games this year, Han scored 26 points with 5 three-pointers and 8 assists against New Hampton and scored 29 points with 7 three-pointers and 7 assists against Exeter.
“Jon has played very well against two very good teams,” said Willard. “He is a lefty with NBA range. He is quick enough to lead the break and runs a team very well. Jon is a fantastic passer who really sees the floor.
“He does need to get a little quicker and stay in the weight room. He’s only 17 years old, so strength should come with maturity.”
