Tiller looking at four

Every winning team has at least one player like John Tiller. Tiller, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound shooting guard, has a way of coming up with the key loose ball, clamping down on the oppositions best scorer and knocking down the timely jumper. He has helped the Atlantic Celtics win a number of games, and he helped Wheeler High School in Marietta, Ga., to a 30-1 record and a state championship. Now the question is what college team will he help win games.
"Right now my top four are Texas A&M, Rice, Tulane and Virginia Tech," said Tiller. "Everyone but Virginia Tech has offered."

Although he is planning on waiting to sign in the spring after his senior season, Tiller has official visits scheduled for Rice on September 16 and Tulane on September 23.
Tiller, who averaged 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists per game during his junior season, is looking for excellence both off and on the court.
"I will look hard at the Engineering programs as well as the basketball programs," he said. "Going to a school that has a chance to make it to the post-season is important to me."
Tiller carries a 3.9 GPA.
