Three Strong With Florida Forward

Chris Richard, a 6-8, 225-pound forward from Kathleen High School in Lakeland, Florida, is expected to compete this summer for John Adkins and his talented Tallahassee Wildcats AAU program.
"Chris is a very talented player," Adkins told us. "He has had a good spring for us. I think by the time we get to July our team will be all together and ready to go."

Adkins' team will compete in two weeks at The Rumble In The Bronx. "Chris really likes Florida, Florida State and Alabama," Adkins said. "He's also looking at other schools too."
Richard, who averaged 18 points, nine rebounds, and five blocks per game, told us he was also interested in Miami, Maryland, Indiana, North Carolina, and Connecticut.
"Style of play is going to be very important in my decision," Richard said previously told us. "I want to play for a team that likes to trap, run, and press. My team did that this season. I enjoy that style. Most of these schools on my list play that way."
