Monday afternoon, three-star wing Javon Bess ended his recruitment after a weekend visit to East Lansing.
A 6-foot-5 wing out of Gahanna (Ohio) Lincoln, Bess confirmed his commitment to Rivals.com via text on Monday afternoon.
Playing in the summer with All-Ohio Red, Bess established himself as a jack of all trades wing. He defends pretty well in space, is a good slasher to the rim and has to be respected as a shooter from deep.
Maybe the best part of Bess game is that he never seems too high or too low. He doesn't let the emotion of the game interfere with his performance and he is a versatile perimeter player that plays with good efficiency.
Bess is the second member of the Spartans 2014 recruiting efforts. He joins four-star point guard Lourawls Nairn.
