A native of Alabama who is spending his senior year at Oldsmar (Fla.) Christian, the 6-foot-7 swingman released a list of five schools he plans to visit through his coach Jordan Fair.
"He has set his top five and will be setting visits," Fair told Rivals.com. "Oregon State, Alabama, South Alabama, Murray State and Louisiana Tech.
"He will hopefully have them all scheduled within the next few days."
Garrett has great size for the wing and does a little bit of everything. A three-star prospect, he crashes the glass, is a very good mid range jump shooter, a fine athlete and he has enough size to play the four in a small lineup.
For now, Fair says that Garrett plans to take all of his visits before signing in the spring.
"He's looking to go into a situation where he can be a big contributor on a winning team, maximizing his potential having the best career possible," said Fair. "He also wants to be in a good academic institution and get his degree."
