Brendan Adams quietly had a very productive July while playing for Team Melo and still finds himself ranked in the most recent 2018 Rivals150. As the calendar turns to September, Adams is moving closer to the end of his recruitment.

Last month, he trimmed his down to nine schools and began taking visits. George Mason had him on campus for an unofficial visit, while Georgia brought him down for an official visit. He has three more visits in the works with Rhode Island, Wyoming and Georgia Tech having dates set to host Adams.

IN HIS OWN WORDS

Adams talked about some of the schools he’s still considering.

George Mason: “It was good. It was impressive because I didn’t really know what to expect going into it, but it was an incredible experience.”

Georgia: “I liked Georgia. I expected Georgia to be a lot, and it was everything expected. They said I would switch between the ‘1’ and the ‘2’ and use me off ball screens and down screens.”

Georgia Tech: “They call me a lot and they want to get me down on that visit and see how I like it.”

Rhode Island: “They were real good last year and I know they are in the same conference as St. Bonaventure where my brother plays. I watched them and I think they are good and can be good for a long time.”

RIVALS' REACTION

Right now, Adams is saying all the right things about giving all the schools a chance to impress him on a visit before he starts making a pecking order or the schools recruiting him or even coming to a decision. Georgia really impressed the Maryland native, and Rhode Island seems to have his full attention as well.
