Three new offers for Pane

The No. 90 ranked prospect in the class of 2007 Brockeith Pane still has not formed a school list, but the 6-foot-2, 195-pound point guard out of Carter High School in Dallas, Texas, did inform Rivals.com of three new high-major offers.
Illinois, Minnesota and Arizona State are the latest schools to offer Pane, joining Texas A&M and Baylor as the high-major schools that have extended offers according to Pane. He also noted that Tennessee, Oklahoma and Texas Tech are also showing strong interest at the moment.

"I don't have a school list, but I am looking for a program that plays a fast tempo and loves to defend," said Pane. "I like a system that shoots a lot of three's and gets up and down the court."
A student of the game, Pane is one of his strongest critics.
"I'd give myself a B- so far this year," he said. "I know I could make better decisions sometimes. My ultimate goal is to be a complete player on both ends of the court."
On the season, Pane is averaging 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game. Carter (21-8) begins a quest for a state tournament berth when the playoffs begin next weekend.
"I think we have a very good chance to go to state," he said. "I think we have the best 5A team in the Dallas area."
Brockeith Pane scouting report:
Pane is a physical point guard with strong leadership skills. Defends and rebounds his position well. Very good at getting into the lane and either finishing or distributing. The consistency of his outside jumper has room for improvement.
