Three leaders for Zimmerman

Andrew Zimmerman has seen a couple of changes take place in his recruitment. The 6-foot-9, 210-pound center from Oostburg (WI) High School has seen one school pull a scholarship offer, but several others have stepped up with new offers. At this time, Zimmerman is on the road unofficially visiting a couple of schools.
"I have scholarship offers from Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Oakland, American, Indiana State and Butler," said Zimmerman. "Wisconsin-Green Bay offered me earlier in the year, but they decided to take back the offer. I guess that they were looking for more of a true five man.

"I have also been hearing from Yale, Princeton, Columbia and Cornell," he added. "The Ivy League schools are more focused on academics. I am going to consider all of my options right now. I just want to look around and see what is best for me."
Schools like Marquette, Wisconsin, Xavier, Ball State, Davidson, Illinois State, Loyola-Chicago and Valparaiso have also impressed an interest in the Wisconsin big man. However, it appears that three schools have emerged as the teams to beat for Zimmerman.
Additionally, Zimmerman is in the road unofficially visiting two of those schools at this time. According to the talented prospect, he is looking for a number of things in particular during these visits.
"My mom and I went to Wisconsin-Milwaukee yesterday and we are going to Detroit today (Thursday)," said Zimmerman. "I would really like to see the athletic training center during my visit to Detroit. I want to major in strength and conditioning and hope to coach at the high school or college level after I graduate.
"I would have to say that Oakland, American and Wisconsin-Milwaukee are the leaders," he added. "Those are my top three schools and the schools that I like the most."
