Three Leaders For Price

Just when it looked like Eric Price would finish his prep career at Blair Academy in New Jersey; he is on the move again. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound point guard from Rockville, Md., made the move back to Dunbar High School to complete his junior year. While Price enjoyed seeing some familiar faces, the No. 147 ranked player on the Rivals150 list will likely make one more move before his high school career comes to an end.
“I just finished up my junior year,” Price said. “I was originally at Blair Academy, but decided to finish up at Dunbar High School. I really had a good time at Dunbar and feel that I finished up strong, but I do not think I will be there next year. If everything goes as planned, I will transfer to Hargrave Academy. I should know for sure in a few weeks, but it’s really looking like I will make the move to Hargrave.”

With his junior year now behind him, Price indicated that he hopes to put an end to his recruitment in July. The No. 28 ranked point guard in the class of 2005 doesn’t intend to take any official visits, but hopes to spend the next month taking unofficial visits to his three favorite schools.
“A lot of new schools are starting to recruit me,” Price said. “Cincinnati, Auburn, Michigan and Florida are just a few of the schools that are somewhat new. I hope to have a decision by the end of July. I plan to take several unofficial visits during my travels this summer.
“I really envision myself playing at Michigan State, Florida or Illinois,” he added. “Those are my three favorites. I really feel comfortable with the Illinois coaching staff, but I would like to visit each school before making a decision. My family wants me to be as far away as possible, so location definitely won’t be a factor in my decision. I will have a better feel for my recruitment after I take some visits.”
