Thomas Set To Visit Florida AM

With the April 14, late signing period one week away, Jason Thomas is still undecided about his future. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound point guard from West Aurora High School in Aurora, IL., has scheduled an official visit to Florida A&M University. If Thomas is not comfortable with the Rattlers, he will likely attend prep school for a year.
“I really don’t know what Jason is going to do next year,” West Aurora High School Head Coach Gordon Kerkman said. “I am trying to track him down right now, but I believe he is taking an official visit to Florida A&M. I could not tell you when the visit is going to happen, but the late period to sign a letter of intent begins next week, so I would imagine the visit will happen soon.

“Jason has indicated that he would rather attend prep school for a year and not go the junior college route,” he added. “I’m hoping to speak with Jason later today, so feel free to call me back and I should have more information about what’s going on.”
Thomas has also expressed an interest in Clemson, Florida State, Georgia and Miami-FL. At this time, its unknown if the aforementioned schools are still actively recruiting the Illinois native.
