As one of the top prospects in the class of 2015, five-star prospect Elijah Thomas is enjoying the experiences coming his way.

Last weekend, the 6-foot-9 post player from Dallas (Texas) Prime Prep was in attendance at the Pangos All-American Camp and made the top 30 Cream of the Crop all-star game.
"It's been very fun," said Thomas of his Pangos experience. "I've been able to play with my teammate Emmanuel Mudiay and meet a new people. It's been a fun experience."
Big and skilled, Thomas has earned acclaim not because he's a deluxe athlete but because he knows how to play the game. He will score over either shoulder, has great hands and is a high-volume rebounder. Very personable, Thomas also has a good feel for what his best attributes are.
"Doing well would be being an overall leader, getting my teammates involved and being able shoot over both shoulders with both hands," Thomas told Rivals of his strengths. "If needed, I can get the ball up the court to my point guard if he's being trapped and block shots and rebound. Just being an overall scorer."
Ranked No. 10 overall in his class, Thomas has become a primary target for many of college basketball's top programs.
"Offered, that I can remember right now, and no disrespect to the colleges I don't name, I just don't remember at this point," said Thomas. "Florida, Ohio State, Georgetown, Kentucky, Louisville, Texas A&M, Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Indiana, Alabama, LSU. Pretty much every big-name school, it's hard to remember."
This summer, Thomas will continue touring the country with Team Texas Elite and he's in no rush to make a decision. He will soon know which schools are prioritizing him, though. Programs can begin contacting rising juniors directly in just over a week and Thomas hopes to get a better feel for things then.
"I'm definitely going to wait until senior year," he said. "But June 15, in my head I'll know who is really on me the hardest because that's when they can start calling and texting me."
