Thomas officially reclassifies

According to South Kent Prep head coach Raphael Chillious, the latest addition to his squad Isaiah Thomas is quickly making strides to round out his game. Thomas, a prolific scorer at 5-foot-8, 170-pounds has some time to become a more complete player as he has decided to reclassify to the class of 2008.
"It has been an easy transition for Isaiah," said Chillious. "He is fitting right in with the guys.

"He's not playing too bad either. He put up 15 (points) and 8 (assists) in his first game and then 19 (points) and 7 (assists) in his second game."
Formerly at Curtis Senior High in Tacoma, Wash., Thomas has traveled across country to get his academics in order. He is also at South Kent (Conn.) Prep to take his game to another level.
"We are just trying to take Isaiah from good to great," said Chillious. "We are playing him primarily at the point, and what I liked about his first two games is that his points were quiet and he was getting other players involved. He was also defending like he never has before. He was really getting after it."
Thomas, presently the No. 78 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, is still firmly committed to Washington.
Isaiah Thomas scouting report:
A dynamic scorer who is very crafty with the ball, Thomas has a flair to his game and a penchant for hitting the big shot. His size has yet to be an issue offensively, but he will need to improve his defensive intensity and playmaking ability in order to suceed at the high-major level.
