Thomas Liking Florida State

Power forward Charles Thomas from Callaway High School in Jackson, Mississippi has cancelled his scheduled visit to Oklahoma and will take one last visit to Arkansas before making a decision.
It will take an impressive Arkansas visit to cause Thomas to take Florida State from the top of his list.

“I’m still going to Arkansas this weekend,” said Thomas. “I heard Oklahoma signed someone, so they are out. I’m down to three schools in this order. Florida State is first, then Arkansas, then Georgia.”
The 6-foot-7, 230-pound Thomas visited Georgia this past weekend but was less than impressed with the visit.
“It was okay,” he said. “There was something I expected that didn’t happen. You know how you usually hang out with the players on a visit. Well, I didn’t get to meet all the players. Some players acted like they didn’t want to meet me. But I am still considering Georgia.”
What Thomas did not experience at Georgia was exactly what impressed him at Florida State.
“All the players are like a family,” he explained. “The players went to the coach’s house, and everybody was there. They were like family. It was good to see people from different experiences come together like that.”
Thomas, the No. 15 power forward and No. 56 player in the Rivals150, plans to make his decision soon after his Arkansas visit this weekend.
