The Signing Period May Be On Wed, But ...

The National Letter of Intent period for high seniors may start in just two days, but there's a lot of recruiting of underclassmen going on at the same time.
Take a trio of freshmen with the Dallas Mustangs AAU program which is the two-time defending AAU champions for their age group. Coach Cardell Smith has the news about early interest in these players:

Byron Eaton, a 5-11 point guard from Dallas' Lincoln High School. "Texas and Arizona are really interested," Smith said.
Aaron Jackson, a 6-0 shooting guard from Berkner High School in Richardson, TX. "UCLA, LSU and Oklahoma are really interested," he said.
Austin Jackson, a 6-0 shooting guard from Ryan High School in Denton, TX. "Texas and Texas A&M are interested," he said. Jackson is also a top baseball recruit.
"All three of these players receive a lot of letters," he noted. "But the above schools are the ones most interested right now." Baylor is another school that has shown interest for these three kids plus Booker Wolfax and Terrel Harris.
