Texas Tech locks up fifth in-stater
If it wasn't clear this summer when Pat Knight and his staff from Texas Tech spent lots of time watching Texas kids, it should be clear now that the Red Raiders want to build with local talent. Sunday night, Toddrick Gotcher committed making it five Texans from the class of 2011.
A solid 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Garland (Texas) Lakeview Centennial, Gotcher can fill it up from deep.

"Toddrick gives Texas Tech another go-to scorer," said Damon Sayles of Texashoops.com. "He is as smooth as it gets and he makes it look easy on the court and completes a very good 2011 class for the Red Raiders."
A three-star prospect, Gotcher joins Kevin Wagner, Terran Petteway, Jordan Tolbert and Hershey Robinson to make up the Red Raiders 2011 class.
