Texas Tech adds in-state wing

This weekend, Pat Knight and his staff are hosting a large group of in-state recruiting targets. Saturday afternoon, they scored their first pledge from the group when Terran Petteway gave them the nod.
Petteway, a 6-foot-6 small forward from Galveston (Texas) Ball didn't need much time to make his decision and committed early during his official visit.

Playing during the summer with the Galveston Hornets, the three-star forward proved to be a high scorer with a solid mid-range game and slashing ability along the baseline.
"The good and bad about Terran is that he's never met a shot he didn't like," said Damon Sayles of rivals affiliate TexasHoops. "With his shooting percentage, that can really be an advantage for Tech. He is a good offensive rebounder and a very underestimated defender."
