Texas prospect Robert Jennings' recruitment keeps heating up

Texas power forward Robert Jennings has been one of the hottest prospects in the country this month in the 2022 class. The 6-foot-8 Jennings has had a terrific junior season playing for TACA Storm and has established himself as a legitimate high-major prospect.

In the past month, he’s added scholarship offers from Houston, LSU, SMU and Texas A&M, along with a few mid-major programs. Others such as Arizona, Creighton and Stanford have started to show interest in Jennings.

With the scholarship offers still fresh, Jennings is still taking in all the information he needs to gather about the new schools that have come into the picture. Expect more schools to jump into the mix as word gets out about him and more coaches evaluate his game. When the current extended dead period ends and prospects are able to make visits to schools and meet with coaches, look for Jennings to take advantage of that opportunity and take the next step in his recruitment. Until then, it’s hard to handicap his recruitment.
