The last available five-star prospect in the class of 2014, Myles Turner won't be unattached for much longer.
Wednesday afternoon, the 6-foot-11 center from Euless (Texas) Trinity confirmed via his twitter account that he'll be announcing his final decision on April 30.
Currently ranked the No. 6 player in the senior class, Turner will make his announcement on ESPNU.
A shot blocker who can step out and make a jump shot, Turner has been the subject of an intense recruiting battle. Officially, he still lists Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Texas and SMU and he has been silent in regards to any leaders.
However, as we head down the homestretch of the Turner recruitment three teams appear to be leading the way. Texas, SMU and Kansas have been talked about behind the scenes as the trio of teams to beat and Turner has been to the campuses of each program (Texas and Kansas got official visits while he has been to SMU unofficially) in the past few months. Turner has also visited Oklahoma State, Ohio State and Duke officially.
Will Turner pick one of the three that has been speculated to be out front? Or will he pull a surprise and pick one of the other schools on his list? Everybody will get their answer on April 30th.
