Texas AM lands one more

Texas A&M did not stop with the addition of Bryan Davis during the early signing period. The Aggies also nabbed the No. 142 ranked prospect in the Rivals150 Brandon Webster. Although the 6-foot-10, 235-pound center from Bryan (Texas) High School will more than likely first suit up for the Aggies in the fall of 2007, Webster did sign a letter of intent last week according to his AAU coach Max Ivany.
"Brandon signed his letter of intent with Texas A&M," said Ivany of the Texas Ambassadors. "Right now the idea is for him to prep another year.

"Brandon has the potential to help Texas A&M one day. He's come a long way in his improvement and intensity."
Averaging only 7 points and 5 rebounds per game during his junior campaign last season, Webster displayed his upside while on the AAU circuit this summer. He visited Wyoming and Louisiana Tech this fall and also had offers from Utah and Arizona State.
Still developing as an offensive player, Webster excels at blocking shots and rebounding.
"Brandon is as good a shot blocker as anyone out there," said Ivany. "Now he'll have to up the ante as far as work ethic goes. He's a great kid, and I think he'll do well."
