Terrance Whiters Will Transfer

TEANECK, NEW JERSEY -- Terrance Whiters, a 5-9, 145 pound point guard from Baltimore, Md., will transfer to the Laurinburg Institute in North Carolina this fall.
Whiters, who spent last year at Gwynn Lake Prep in Baltimore, told the Insiders Report that he plans on doing one year at Laurinburg, but admitted that he might need two to get his academic affairs in order.

An extremely quick and pesky floor general, Whiters said he has an interest in Clemson, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Mississippi and Southern Methodist this summer.
Whiters only played in five games at Gwynn Lake this past season, averaging 27 points, six assists and three steals per game before the basketball program disbanded at the school.
Whiters, who will need to boost his SAT score in order to qualify academically, will attend the Three Stripes Classic and the adidas Big Time Tournament with the Atlanta Celtics this month following the ABCD Camp.
