Playing in one of the toughest districts in Texas, George Odufuwa is averaging a double-double for Kimball High School in Cedar Hill, Texas. And the 6-foot-8, 215-pound combo forward has had as many schools in to watch him this season as any other player in the country. Ten of those schools have already offered the No. 73 ranked player in the class of 2006.

Coach Rodney Johnson of Kimball High School provided Rivals.com with a lengthy list of schools that Odufuwa is interested in. The top schools on his list are Texas, Oklahoma, SMU, Wake Forest, Arizona, Florida and Florida State. Other schools which rank a little lower on his list are Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Texas A&M, Louisville, Illinois, Miami, Oregon, Colorado and North Carolina.
"George has offers from Texas, Oklahoma, SMU, Arizona, Arizona State, Texas A&M, Illinois, Florida, Miami and Colorado," said Coach Johnson. "All of the schools on his list have watched him this year along with others, including UCLA and half of the Big East."
Averaging 10 points and 12 rebounds per game in a district that includes South Oak Cliff, led by Kevin Rogers and Darrell Arthur, and Seagoville, led by Donald Sloan and Derrick Roland. In a recent match up against Seagoville, Odufuwa put up 31 points in an 84-79 loss.
Primarily a power forward at this stage in his career, Odufuwa projects as a small forward on the college level, and perhaps even the NBA level.
"George is playing really well for us," said Johnson. "Early in the year he was doulbe and triple teamed, but now TJ Clark and Lionell Booker have stepped it up, it has opened things up for George. He is shooting the ball well from the perimeter as well as playing hard in the post.
"I think he is definitely going to be a small forward. He's a good, coachable kid. He just needs to work on maintaining his intensity. If he can get that, he'll be the next Kimball pro."
Former Kimball graduates that have played in the NBA are Quinton Ross, presently with the Clippers, and Gerald Sasser, formally with the Magic.
