Temple to Follow Family

Combo guard Garrett Temple of University Lab High School in Baton Rouge is set to follow the footsteps of his father Collis and older brother Collis III after signing his Letter-of-Intent with LSU.
The 6-foot-6, 170-pound Temple averaged 17 points and six assist last season. He visited Baylor, Oregon, and Rice before choosing the Tigers.

Coach John Brady plans on taking advantage of Temple’s height by utilizing him at the point guard position.
“We are very pleased with the signing of Garrett Temple,” Coach Brady told the Baton Rouge newspaper, The Advocate. “Our plan for Garrett right now is to play the point guard position, but knowing his size and versatility, he can also be a very effective player for us in several different ways.”
Temple’s will join his high school teammate Glen Davis, the No. 8 player in the Rivals150, at LSU.
