Temple lands local star

Temple traditionally has done a great job of keeping the Philadelphia kids home. The Owls have done it again as Andrew Randall verbally committed to the Atlantic 10 school on Monday.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound wing from Communications Tech said the comfort level he felt at Temple was too hard to turn down.

"I love the atmosphere at Temple," Randall told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I love the team. That's a place I can call my second home."
Randall, who is averaging 21 points per game this season, also considered LaSalle. He is also waiting to find out if he received a qualifying score on the SAT.
The aggressive wing helped his team claim the Philadelphia Public League championship the night before he officially committed in double overtime. Randall scored 16 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and handed out five assists in the win.
