TCU adds another big man

TCU and Jim Christian have been busy lately with the class of 2011. Friday, they added their third commitment of the Spring when Ryan Rhoomes committed to the Horned Frogs.
A thick 6-foot-9 center, Rhoomes earned acclaim early in his career at Bayside (N.Y.) Cardozo.

After some bouncing around some upon leaving Cardozo, Rhoomes settled in at Newark (N.J.) Nia Prep this year.
Once he settled in at Nia, Rhoomes got into better shape and started to attract attention. However, he's found a college situation that he's happy with.
"I decided to go to TCU," said Rhoomes on NYChoops.net. "I liked Coach Jim Christian. He told me that I would be playing right away and said that I wouldn't want to go to a school where I would just be sitting there."
Rhoomes joins junior college prospects Connell Crossland and Adrick McKinney to make up the Horned Frogs recruiting class.
