It wasn't in his original plan, but Ryan Taylor is making the most of his move to the class of 2012.

After initially committing to Louisville for the class of 2011, academics forced a year of prep school at Chatham (Va.) Hargrave.
Over the weekend at the National Prep Showcase, the 6-foot-5 forward who has re-opened his recruitment showed what he's capable of.
"I thought that I played pretty well," Taylor told Rivals.com after back to back 26 point and 11 rebound performances. "We had to grind it out a little and I think we were all happy about our play."
A strong kid who loves to get on the glass and finish in transition, Taylor has also been working to expand his game. It showed in New Haven as he converted on several catch and shoot opportunities.
"I try to say that I can do a little bit of everything," said Taylor. "I rebound, I've shown that I can shoot it a little bit from the perimeter now and I play hard."
According to Taylor, he's wide open now that he's back on the board and early overtures have come from Dayton, Cincinnati and Arkansas among others.
He's planning to take all of his visits and says that he expects his recruitment to change over the next six months.
"It's difficult to explain," said Taylor when asked where he is with the recruiting process. "It hasn't really been public yet but I think now that I'm playing in tournaments and stuff there will be new schools."
