Tatum off the board

One of the better athletes in the state of Georgia Cameron Tatum is now ready to focus his attention on bringing a state championship to his Tucker (Ga.) High School team. Tucker, a 6-foot-5, 190-pound wing player, will take his aggressive style of play to Charlotte next season.
"I'm really excited about committing to Charlotte," said Tatum, the No. 140 ranked player in the Rivals150. "I have a good chance to play right away there. Their planning on using me at the two and a little at the three.

"I really liked the environment while I was down there. The coaches and players were great. I just want to go in there and play good defense and help the team win anyway I can."
Tatum, who was also considering Georgia, Tennessee, NC State and South Carolina while claiming offers from all but South Carolina, thrives in the transition game where he can attack the basket with his athleticism.
Coming off a 27-4 season where he averaged 21 points per game, Tatum has his eyes on a Georgia state championship.
"Now that this is over, I'm ready to win a state championship," he said. "We have a really good shot at getting it done this year."
