Mohamed Tangara, the developing 6-foot-9, 230-pound center from Mt. Zion Christian Academy in Durham, N.C., told RivalsHoops.com that he is considering six colleges this spring.
Tangara, a native of Mali, West Africa, said that he has been offered scholarships by Louisville and Memphis. Other schools in the mix with him include Michigan, Arizona, Kansas and Duke.

On a team loaded with guards and solid forward prospects, Tangara doesn't always get a lot of touches with the Richmond Squires program. While in school at Mt. Zion, he usually travel with the Squires, but also plays for Linzy Davis' Team Georgia Elite program.
While Tangara is still a work in progress, he has made considerable strides in his game after moving to the United States a few years back.
We'll be keeping an eye on Tangara this spring and summer, so keep it tuned to RivalsHoops.com as the summer evaluation period looms on the horizon!
