Tangara Headed to PAC-10

Mohamed Tangara has made it no secret on his life goal. He wants to make it to the NBA. On Sunday morning he made a decision that he hopes helps him achieve his dream.
The 6-foot-9, 230 pound power forward was in Tucson, Arizon for an unofficial visit to the Wildcats. After taking in the facilities, working out and playing with the team, he knew his decision was made.

"I spoke to Coach Olsen and we had a good conversation on my visit. I knew in my mind that this is what I wanted to do. I told them this morning that I will commit to Arizona," Tangara said from the Dallas airport Sunday afternoon.
The committment is huge for the PAC-10 powerhouse because many believed that Louisville and Memphis had the slight edge.
Tangara credits the Wildcats history of producing professional players as one of the main reasons for his pledge.
"This is my dream. Arizona gives me a chance to play in the NBA. If I work hard and do the things I need to do in the next few years, I will get there," Tangara said.
He joins the sweet shooting Jawan McClellan as the second committment for Lute Olsen & Co.
