Talented PG Switches Schools

Tyler Smith, a 6-2, 180-pound point guard from Douglas High School in Baltimore, Maryland, has decided to switch to a prep school for this upcoming season. Smith has decided on West Nottingham Academy in Maryland. This is a tremendous pickup for West Nottingham since Smith is one of the best point guards in the country.
Smith was especially good at the at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions event during Memorial Day weekend. Smith plays for the Baltimore Select.

Smith, a lefty, sliced through seams in the defense to find open teammates. He also occasionally stepped out and launched jumpers around the three-point line. Smith, who played last season at Douglass High School in Baltimore, Maryland, told us he averaged 29 points and five assists last season. He played in the same backcourt as Gerald Brown.
Smith should be highly recruited due to his offensive skills. Smith has mentioned he is especially interested in Charlotte, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Providence, and James Madison.
