One of the top prospects in the class of 2015, top 25 player Montaque Gill-Caesar could end up being one of the top players in another class.
Currently a junior at Huntington (W.V.) Prep, the 6-foot-6 small forward who hails from Canada has the credits to graduate this spring and enroll as a member of the class of 2014.
One of the top wing athletes in the country, Gill-Caesar has been hard at work on rounding out his game while at Huntington.
"I've gotten more comfortable with my jump shooting," Gill-Caesar told Rivals.com. "I'm trying to use that to open up my driving to the basket."
According to Gill-Caesar, he has attention from Michigan State, West Virginia, Florida State, Missouri, Alabama, Kansas, Memphis and Kentucky.
Next up in the process, Gill-Caeser would like to set up some visits. A few places stand out as locations he would like to hit and he's already been to a couple of campuses.
"I have none set up as of yet," said Gill-Caesar of his visits. "The easiest one for me would be Michigan State because it's closest to home. I'll probably visit Florida State and possibly Memphis too.
"I've been to West Virginia three times and Kentucky twice."
While picking a school is a big decision for Gill-Caesar, deciding whether to remain in the class of 2015 or move up to 2014 is another big one. He said there is a possibility that both decisions could come at the same time but for now he's just not sure what he'll do.
"It's a possibility right now," said Gill-Caesar of making both his college and class decisions at the same time. "It's just going to be a game-time decision right now, I don't really know. I'm just not sure."
