Taft versus Alleyne Battle Set

In a game rivalshoops.com will cover this weekend, 6-8 big man Chris Taft of Xaverian High School will go up against 7-3 Shagari Alleyne in a CHSAA semifinal game. These are two of the top big men in the class of 2003.

Taft scored 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead his team past St. Raymond's, 66-49. Alleyne scored 30 points and added 15 rebounds to help Rice blast Christ the King, 73-53. Christian Brown helped the winners out with an additional 15 points while Japhet McNeil and Mitchell Beauford each had 19 points.
