Syracuse big man will stay local

There were three hats placed on the table for Dajuan Coleman's press conference Tuesday afternoon.
There probably only needed to be one, Syracuse.

Still, Coleman actually had to pick the Orange over Kentucky and Ohio State and thanked everybody involved before he made his choice.
"The school I will be attending this coming fall will be Syracuse," said Coleman at the press conference.
A local star from Syracuse (N.Y.) Jamesville-Dewitt, the 6-foot-10 Coleman has been a major Syracuse target since the day he started high school and in the end he probably wasn't ever going anywhere else.
"It's close to home," said Coleman of why he picked Syracuse. "The fans, the surrounding community and the players that are going to be there."
One of the biggest and strongest players in the class of 2012, Coleman is a power player with big, soft hands and good touch out to 15 feet.
Ranked No. 27 nationally in the class of 2012, Coleman joins Jerami Grant in the Orange's early recruiting class.
