Swingman Has Long List

Sean Banks, a 6-7, 190 pound small forward from Bergen Catholic H.S. in Oradell, N.J., still has a wide degree of interest in a number of colleges.
The Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com caught up with Banks this spring, and he listed Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, Kansas, Texas, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John's, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Louisville, Marquette and Tennessee as potential college destinations.

Banks has already visited Seton Hall unofficially, and said that he hopes to also make unofficial trips to UConn, Pittsburgh and North Carolina. Banks will be in Chapel Hill this month as his T5T Playaz program will compete in the Bob Gibbons Memorial Day Tournament of Champions.
Banks could shave his list by the summer, but there is no set timetable on a decision, according to his coach at Bergen Catholic, Joe Dionisio. That said, Banks is expected to make a fall decision and sign in November.
One of the more versatile players in the Class of 2003, Banks is a gifted ball handler and passer. He plays both inside and out due to his size at Bergen Catholic, but plays primarily on the wing with Jimmy Salmon's T5T Playaz program.
Banks is expected to attend the adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey this July, and then will tour the circuit with the Playaz, whose pit stops will include the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas.
We plan on catching Banks play quite a bit in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned to this site for the most up to date information on the top prospects in the Class of 2003.
