Swain Signs

Former Connecticut sophomore Robert Swain, a 6-5, 210-pound shooting guard/small forward, signed with the College of Charleston today, according to several sources.
Swain, who played his high school ball at Tri Cities HS in GA, first choose Connecticut in 2000 because they had a chance to compete for a National Championship every year. But it was a numbers crunch at Connecticut for Swain. So he decided to try another level of college play.
Swain, who averaged 31 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals as a senior, had also been recruited out of high school by DePaul, Alabama, and SMU.
