Swader Has Several Offers

Kenyona Swader, a 6-7, 180 pound small forward from Smyrna H.S. in Smyrna, Tenn., has six scholarship offers on the table this summer.
Swader, who starred this past spring and summer for Charlie Benson's Tennessee Travelers program, said he's been offered by Appalachian State, UT-Chattanooga, Middle Tennessee State, Buffalo, Wofford and Tennessee Tech.

Others expressing interest include Pittsburgh, LaSalle, St. Louis, Richmond, Rice and Mississippi State.
Swader has yet to set up any specific dates for in-home or official visits, but he does plan on taking fall trips to UTC, Buffalo and possibly St. Louis.
Swader and the Travelers attended the Charlie Weber Invitational in West Virginia, the AAU Super Showcase in Florida and Tom Tietze's Tournament in Kansas this past July.
A tall player who maneuvers proficiently on the wing, Swader impressed Rivalshoops with his upside and potential back at the Kingwood Classic in Texas this past April.
This past season at Smyrna H.S., Swader averaged 15 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals per game.
