Family sources close to Surratt tell us that Armando has requested a release so he can explore other schools. Surratt's family did not want to mention what schools would be of interest until they had the document showing Armando's release in their hands.
Surratt is one of the more electrifying point guards in the class of 2002. He possesses deadly quickness and is very difficult to contain off the dribble.
Simply put, he makes things happen out on the basketball court.
Surratt, who burst onto the national scene in July at the adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey, also is awaiting an SAT score. Sources indicate that Louisville would be one school that Surratt might be interested in if he gets his release.
