Summer Key For GA Guard

David Shelton, a 6-1, 170-pound combo guard from Tri Cities High School in Georgia, performed last weekend at the Southern Invitational in Charlottesville, Virginia. Shelton played with several players from the Chicago, Illinois area for the Worldwide Renegades.
"I am wide open in my recruiting," Shelton told us. "I am just trying to improve every part of my game and see who is interested in recruiting me."

Shelton told us that Tulane and Seton Hall are the schools he is most interested in right now. "I have not ruled out any school," Shelton said. "I will see where things are after July. Then I will have a better idea on who is interested in me."
Shelton did a nice job in blending in with several new faces with the Worldwide Renegades. His big month, like so many others in the 2003 class, will be the month of July. If Shelton can show a consistent offensive game, he is likely to have some high major offers.
